Why it was let go
I bought this in a second-hand shop in Daryaganj with somebody else's boarding pass still tucked inside it — Frankfurt to Delhi, 2009. I have wondered about that person for years.
It is a novel about a man who cannot stop moving, who spends the whole book buying tickets to nowhere. Keeping it on a shelf felt like the wrong ending for it.

Somebody left this on the seat beside me and I assumed it was rubbish until I noticed the plate inside the cover. Read forty pages before boarding and then could not stop thinking about it over the Arabian Sea. Leaving it in the seat pocket of 34B.
